SuperFamily!
Spaghetti and How to Mourn the Death of Your Boyfriend -A Spideypool/Superfamily Fanfic

“Hey, guys,” Wade said as he stepped out of the elevator and into the lounge of Stark Tower.
Paige was lying across her father’s lap on her back, watching whatever was quietly playing on the television in the room. The Rogers-Starks didn’t watch much TV anymore.
Steve was in the kitchen cooking the family dinner, Peter’s favorite to be exact. He loved his Pop’s spaghetti. Too bad he wasn’t around anymore to enjoy it.
Ever since Peter had died, things weren’t the same. They were never going to be the same. Wade could no longer smell Peter’s scent on his clothes. He undressed for no one but the shower now. The house was quieter. Peter’s room was cold and lifeless. Sometimes Wade would stay the night in the tower and sleep in Peter’s bed. Memories of the love they had made and the times they had shared would flourish the room at night, causing Wade to break down and cry until he wore himself out. The sheets, once wrapped around Peter’s soft flesh, were now a place for Wade to shed tears.
He had never really cried over anyone in his life before. He never had a reason to. Wade had always been the loner kid, had to fight for himself, fend for himself. Once he met Peter, that all changed. Someone had accepted him and loved him for who he was, scars and all. He fought for the boy he loved. He fought beside the boy he loved. To have the one thing he loved in his life taken away from him was worse than losing him when he was ready. Wade knew he was going to have to live without Peter at some point, being that he had the healing ability. The mercenary just wanted maybe 80 mores years with him.
“Hey, Wade,” Steve replied as he finished fixing everyone a bowl of spaghetti. “Just in time for dinner.”
Steve looked drained of all his energy. It had been months since Peter’s passing, but the Captain was still struggling with the loss of his son. Everyone was still mourning. Steve just looked more tired, more than ever.
He helped Steve set the table, setting a place for Peter, even though he wouldn’t be attending. They always set his place.
“Guys, it’s time for dinner,” the blonde called from the kitchen.
Tony and Paige got up from the cold couch and walked into the kitchen where the other two were waiting. Tony shook Wade’s hand before sitting down in his place, and Paige took a long hug. Mr. Stark already looked tired all the time from working in his lab, so he didn’t look that way unusually. He just looked defeated.
Paige was the worse of them all. At only 16 years old, she sported dark tired eyes and sadness. At any moment, Paige looked like she could break down on her knees and cry. Losing her brother was the hardest thing she had ever had to live through. There was so much left unsaid in Paige’s eyes.
I never got to tell him I loved him,” the small girl had finally told her fathers a few months after his passing.
They reminded her, “Peter knew you loved him. You’re his baby sister. You were his world, little girl.”
Wade held onto her for a few minutes and kissed the top of her head before letting her sit down. The mercenary promised Paige that he would always be around for her. He’d never try to take the place of Peter, but he’d always make an effort to be a brother figure.
Wade sat down next, Steve following behind him. They sat in silence as they ate their spaghetti.

Maybe they weren’t so normal, but without Peter, nothing would ever be normal again.

Okay, this really has nothing to do with Superfamily, except for my superfamily oc Paige. But I wrote an au for her where he boyfriend is some kind of like, mythical creature, like a werewolf or something. I pick werewolf because he’s loosely based off of Scott McCall from Teen Wolf. Yeah. I guess.

DONT HATE ME

“You are the most beautiful thing I have ever smelled,” the tan boy in front of Paige said to her.
Paige could feel the boy’s eyes on her as he breathed in her scent. There was blood running down her cheek from her hairline and a gash on her wrist. Though she was in an incredible amount of pain, all she could feel was the pair of eyes, red and beady, looking at her. There were small flecks of gold in them, Paige had noticed, and even though they were probably like that to scare prey, she couldn’t help but be attracted to them even more.
“What do I smell like?” Paige asked, hand shaking from the amount of blood seeping out.
The taller boy looked at her before pushing her up against the tree, arms around her so she couldn’t get away.
“Like heaven.”
Paige’s heart began to race and Andy could sense it.
“I’m not going to hurt you,” he whispered into her ear. “Do you know how long I’ve waited for you?”
She could feel him kiss her neck and then her forehead. He licked the spot on her head that was splattered in blood. She could feel the wound slowly start to feel better. Then he moved to her arm, licking the gash with his tongue, and soon it was closed up and healed. Paige looked back up at him, completely lost for words, which didn’t happen often, and looked into those eyes again.
“I’ll see you around, Paige,” he said, kissing her lips that were stained with her blood. It was a small, innocent kiss that left her breathless.
Then, he was gone.

Tony’s Letter

Peter,

What can I say? I am so very proud of everything you’ve become. You’re grown from my little baby boy to my big grown son. You’ll be graduating high school this year and attending MIT in the fall. I wish I could be there, buddy. In person. I wish I could be there to watch you get your diploma and drop you off to college on your first day. Your Pop always said you’d follow in my footsteps and become a great man one day.
The first day your Pop and I met you, the first day we got to hold you, was one of the greatest days of my life and it always will be. I had learned to put your father first for the little while we were together before we adopted you, but not the way I felt I should do with you. As soon as I held you in my arms, I knew I had to protect you from all the bad things in the world. I knew I had to love you and take care of you to the best of my abilities. And I was scared shitless. I think your Pop and I both were, but as soon as we took you home and kissed you goodnight, we knew that everything was going to be okay. You and your sister are the greatest things I have ever done and I love you both so much.
I know that being Spiderman is important to you, Peter, but right now, you need to put your Pop and your sister first. Don’t ever put Spiderman before your family.
Oh, and Wade? He’s an okay guy. I give you my blessings. I know it took a long time for me to come around and give him a chance, but I’ve seen the way he looks at you, and when it’s not like a piece of meat, he looks like he really loves you. I know. I look at your Pop like that.
I love you so much, son. Don’t ever forget that.

Paige,

Do you remember when you were little, blonde hair a mess and blue eyes so full of curiosity, we used to sing to each other? You couldn’t go to bed without Daddy singing to you first. Don’t stop singing because I’m gone. I want to be able to hear that beautiful voice no matter where I end up in the afterlife. And when you hear our song, I want you to sing it at the top of your lungs. No tears.
When you grow up, I want you to do the thing you love the most. Don’t join the superhero business because of your Pop and your brother. Be Paige. Be that beautiful, smart, talented, strong young woman that you are growing into every day. I wish that I could stick around a little longer, watch you graduate high school, fall in love, get married, and even have children. I wish Daddy could be there to walk you down the aisle with your Pop. I bet you’ll look so beautiful and so happy. Daddy wishes he could be there to wipe your tears for the rest of your life, and hold you when you needed a hug, but I can’t.
I remember the day you were born and Pop and I were so excited to finally bring you home and love you and give you everything your little heart desired. I’ve been blessed to have been able to watch you grow up and grow so very close to you.
Just know that I love you so very much and you will always be my baby girl. You’ve made me so very proud.
Ooh, baby, baby, it’s a wild world; it’s hard to get by just upon a smile. Ooh, baby, baby, it’s a wild world, and I’ll always remember you like a child, girl.

Steve,

Baby, there’s hardly any words I can use to express how deeply, madly, irrevocably, passionately in love with you and I always will be. For the past 18+ years, you have been my best friend, my lover, my partner, my husband, and you’ve always stood beside me. I don’t look half as good doing anything when I’m not doing it next to you. I have cherished every second of my life spent with you and our two beautiful children and I wish I didn’t have to leave you all so soon. I am so blessed to have three people in my life that love me, and have more importantly, saved me.
I used to ask myself how I could’ve ever deserved you, Steve. You will always be my better half and you’ve always been so good to me when I didn’t deserve it. I guess I was just so scared that you would realize I wasn’t good for you one day and decide to leave me. I’d never stop you from being happy, but I don’t know how much longer I would’ve been able to live without you by my side.
The day you said you would marry me was the day I knew that you were mine forever and I was yours. I wasn’t scared anymore. It was great to finally be able to know that you really did love me and wanted me.
I want you to know that it’s okay to love again. Grieve as much as you need, but not too much. I don’t want you to live the rest of your life lonely and sad. I want you to be happy, sweetheart, because you deserve the world.
I’m really going to miss the way you say my name, the way you look in the morning, as the sun shines through your honey colored hair, the way you smell after a battle, the way you hold me, kiss me, and make love to me. Don’t let that go to waste. It’s okay to let someone else see how beautiful you are.
Be strong for the kids, love. You’re an amazing father and those kids are so lucky to have you in their lives. Be there for each other and stay strong.
You are my soul mate, my world, and the love and light of my life.
Live another 70 years for me, Capsicle.
I love you, Steve.

Love always,

Your Husband and Daddy

SuperFamily Drabble -The Talk

The daughter used in this fic is my OC and there is a character post on her right here (x)

“Peter! Stop hogging all the Chex Mix! I know you had a long day of being a dork, but it would be really great if you could share!”
Peter rolled his eyes and passed the bowl to his sister, Paige, who was steadily drawing different little scribbles down on her notebook.
“You’re not even doing homework. Here I am doing calculus and you’re drawing stupid little pictures in your notebook. I think I deserve more of the Chex Mix.”
Paige didn’t even look away from her notebook, but she could feel her older brother pull the bowl back to his side of the bar.
“You are such a child, Peter. I swear, hanging out with Wade has done nothing to you but make you gain weight from all the Taco Bell and make you suck at math.”
“Shut up, Paige,” the older sibling huffed out, taking a handful of the Chex Mix just to annoy his sister.
Steve and Tony walked in, as if they had been watching the cameras set up all over the tower. Tony probably was, anyway.
“Hey, the two of you need to chill out. We can hear you all the way from the bedroom.”
“Like we can’t hear you all the way from here,” Peter mumbled as he wrote down the equation A(t,x) = Acos(kx - wt) in his notebook.
Tony snorted and covered his mouth with his calloused hand to stifle a laugh. Steve looked back with a look in his eyes like he wasn’t very happy.
“Man, my kids are smart. And funny as hell.”
Steve sighed and ran a hand through his tousled blonde hair, “You’re as bad as they are. Don’t encourage them.”
Tony rolled his eyes, something that both of their children picked up much to Steve’s dismay, and wrapped his arms around his husband. He placed a soft kiss to Steve’s back and rested his head there.
“Sorry.”
Steve had become less tense now, but that was soon to change.
“I know the two of you are busy doing homework and such, but your dad and I want to talk to you about something.”
Tony cleared his throat, “Correction, your pop wants to talk to you about it. I mean, I don’t mind doing it, he’s just going to over complicate it.”
Steve elbowed his husband behind him and continued on with the conversation.
“We think that the two of you are now old enough to have this talk with us. Peter, you’re dating Wade now and Paige, you’re just starting high school. If you weren’t so much like your father here, maybe I wouldn’t be so worried, but I digress.”
The two teenagers sat there and looked at their pop, eyes free of interest.
“Anyway, uh, now that you’re older, you’re going to have urges. And you might start to really like other people in different ways. And it’s good to like other people like that, but it isn’t so good to act upon it unless you’re really ready. And if you do decide you’re ready, just be safe and use protection.”
Peter closed his notebook and stood up before making his way to his bedroom.
“I don’t need to have this conversation, dads. I’m dating Wade Wilson.
“I can’t believe you didn’t let dad use the health teacher’s talk from Mean Girls,” Paige started. “Boys are gross, I could get pregnant, you don’t want to be a grandpop. There. It’s over.”
She then stood up and walked back to her room, stopping in front of her door for a few last comments.
“Oh, and I’ll be blaring ACDC so you two can continue on doing whatever it was you were doing in your bedroom earlier. Just be safe, okay, dads?” Paige laughed.
Tony didn’t even try to stop himself from chuckling out loud behind his husband this time.
“Good try, honey. Good try. I told you. Our kids are smart.”

SuperFamily Drabble -Becoming a Family

“Okay, Mr. Stark, Mr. Rogers, I’ll have one of the caretakers bring little Peter in. I’ll have the paperwork finished and you can bring your son home.”
Tony smiled at his husband once the social worker had left the room to finish finalizing their paperwork to adopt their son Peter.
“Our son. Steve, we’re going home with our son.”
The blonde grinned back in agreed excitement, “I know, I’m so happy. After all these months of visits, it’s finally time for him to come home with us so we can be a family.”
Although Steve knew Tony really was happy, he knew he was also scared shitless. The idea of being a parent was scary for the both of them, because they just wanted to do right by little Peter. Steve grabbed Tony’s free hand and placed soft kisses on the rough skin of his knuckles and smiled when Tony felt them. He knew exactly what Steve was doing.

Then, a young woman with blonde hair walked into the room holding a small infant with chocolate brown hair in her arms. The baby’s face had been buried into the caretaker’s chest, until he turned to see his two new dads waiting for him. He might’ve been an infant, but the way his eyes lit up when he saw his smiling pair of parents had to mean something.
“Here you go, little guy. This is your family now.”
The caretaker gave Peter up to his papa (Tony and Steve decided the day they first talked about children that Tony would be daddy and Steve would be papa), Steve being the most gentle he had ever been in his whole life.
“Hi, Peter. It’s your papa. Remember me, sweetie?”
The baby gurgled and grabbed onto his papa’s nose.
Steve tried his hardest to hold back tears as he cradled his son close to his heart.
“And this is your daddy,” the blonde almost sobbed as he looked at his husband, who looked almost as disheveled as Steve did.
“Hey, buddy,” Tony whispered as he stroked his son’s soft brown hair. “Daddy’s been looking forward to this day for a long time. I’m scared shitless right now, Petey, but I promise to always love you and take care of you and be the best dad I can be. I promise.”
Steve would’ve yelled at his husband for swearing in front of the baby in his arms, but he was too busy fighting his pouting lip and his tears.
“We both do,” Tony added, kissing Steve’s wet cheek.
Peter looked up at both of his parents and clapped his hands to the baby coos he kept speaking.
Tony let Peter take one of his fingers before he kissed Steve’s lips this time, breathing out I love you’s between kisses.

Lunch Time -A SuperFamily/SuperHusbands Fic

Steve was leaning over the counter opening a box of small jars of baby food, grabbing one that was some type of green color, almost comparable to the things normally found in Peter’s diapers, when Clint walked into the kitchen looking for an afternoon cup of coffee.
“Hey, mommy. What’s on the menu for lunch today?” Clint asked, digging around the cabinets for his own coffee grinds (he and Tony had each gotten their own complete with labels so that they would never get confused while half asleep and accidentally take Natasha’s).
“Peter’s getting mashed peas and Tony wanted a late breakfast so I made him that. Why, are you looking for food? Apparently everyone has made me honorary chef here so, if you want something, just ask now. I’ll have to make it after I feed the baby, though.”
Clint chuckled and perched himself up on the counter, across from the slab where Steve was.
“Send Squirt my regards. Nah, I’m good, Cap. I’ll just steal a slice of your husband’s toast. Mainly because I’m hungry, but also because I enjoy pissing him off.”
Steve grabbed Tony’s plate of breakfast and managed to also grab the jar of baby food and the spoon and Peter’s feeding bib. He already had the high chair set up by the TV where Tony and Peter were. They didn’t call him ‘mommy’ for nothing.
The blonde made his way over to the couch, only to find Tony sprawled out on the floor, lifting their son up and down, like he was lifting weights or something, and watching Peter’s favorite show, The Wonder Pets. They were surrounded by toys and books and there was at least one Stark tablet sitting around so Tony could work a little.
“That was a good episode. Lenny and Turtle Tuck thought that Ming-Ming Duckling was going to be trapped in that little plastic car, but instead of panicking, they worked together and got her out. They worked as a team. If only The Avengers could do that. Maybe we should all just spend a weekend watching this,” Tony rambled on to a little drooling Peter in his arms.
“Sometimes I wonder if you like that show more than our infant son does,” Steve smiled, still juggling all the food in his hands.
Tony stood up and hitched Peter to his side, taking his plate of food from his husband.
“Aww, baby, you made pancakes and sausage and eggs and toast! You are too good to me!”
“Tell me something I don’t know,” the Captain muttered to himself, pulling Peter from his husband’s side.
Tony smiled at Steve and kissed him softly on the lips.
“I really do appreciate my little chef. You know that, right?”
Steve nodded, “I know.”
Tony sat down on the couch facing the TV with his plate of food and dug in.
Steve put Peter in his high chair and put on the little red bib with the Arc Reactor symbol in the middle around his neck (Tony thought he was so cute).
“Who’s hungry? Is Petey hungry? Hmm?”
The little boy bounced in his chair and smiled before drool dripped down his chin.
Steve sat down next to Tony and opened the jar of green baby food, scooping out little bites for Peter to eat. He put the spoon up to Peter’s mouth and waited for the baby to open, making faces to get him to giggle.
“You know,” Tony started, mouth full of food. “If this whole Avengers thing turns out to be a bust, you should totally have your own show on the freaking Food Network or something. Damn, Steve. I have never know anyone who could cook this well.”
“It’s a labor of love, Tony,” Steve said in between silly faces.
Tony cut some of his pancakes and fed a few bites to Steve, purposely getting syrup on the tips of his fingers so his hubby would have to lick them clean.
“Though it would be nice if you, you know, cooked for me sometimes,” Steve admitted after swallowing some of the eggs he scrambled.
The brunette leaned over and kissed Steve’s soft pale cheek, “I promise to cook dinner for you this week. It might not turn out edible, but I’ll at least give it a shot.”
“That’s all that matters,” Steve laughed before returning a kiss to Tony, this time on his lips, which were particularly sticky at the moment.
Peter was finishing the last of his bites of green puree as the box called it.
“Mmm, is that good, honey?” Steve asks after he tells Peter the spoon is an airplane, complete with propeller sounds, and feeds it to him.
Tony’s finished with his food, so he just watches Steve feed their son, smiling uncontrollably big.
When Peter’s finally done, Steve wipes his little mouth off with a baby wipe and pulls him out of the high chair, releasing him to Tony. Steve’s on dish duty now, so Tony’s on diaper and nap duty.
“Now, both my boys have full bellies and they can take a nice nap so they don’t get cranky later.”
Just after Steve says that, Clint passes by (stupid secret agents).
“Funny how easily comparable you are to your infant son, huh Stark?”
Tony rolls his eyes and just as Clint makes it passed them, Tony grins.
“Funny how I switched you and Natasha’s coffee beans, huh Barton?”
Clint stops in his tracks, halfway in the hallway, but continues walking after a few short seconds.
“It’s going to be even funnier when we wake up to a booby-trapped bedroom because you pissed off two excellent assassins,” Steve says as he picks up the plate and all of Peter’s mess. “Please change him before you two fall asleep watching TV.”
Tony nods, “Yes, mommy” as Steve kisses both their foreheads and walks into the kitchen.

After the dishes are washed and everyone is out of the kitchen, Steve walks back over to the couch to find Tony on his back, asleep, with Peter snoozing right on top of the arc reactor. Tony’s chest is honestly the best pillow, Steve knows, because of the soft whirring of the arc reactor. The blonde smiles before he climbs onto the couch as well, cuddling up to Tony’s thigh. The family sleeps together on the couch for a while, at least until Peter needs another change.

Halloween -A SuperFamily Fic

Halloween was only a few days away. It was one of Peter’s favorite holidays. This year, he wanted to surprise his dads with his costume.
“Okay, how about you ask one of your uncles or your aunts to help you out? Daddy and I usually help you but, if you don’t want us to see your costume, you’ll have to ask one of them,” Peter remembers his Pop telling him.
The small boy ran into the kitchen to see if any of his super hero family members were around. He only found his Uncle Clint in front of the microwave, heating up some coffee that his Aunt Natasha made.
“Uncle Clint, can you help me make my Halloween costume?”
The man turned around and looked at his nephew, leaning against the counter.
“Sure, squirt. But I thought you liked to make them with Cap and Tony?”
“I want it to be a surprise this year! So, pop said I had to ask one of you guys to help me,” Peter replied, hoping his uncle would indeed help him.
When the microwave beeped, the assassin opened the door and pulled out his warm coffee before nodding and agreeing to help little Peter.
“Okay, squirt. Who do you want to be?”
Peter ran up to his arrow shooting uncle and whispered in his ear, “I wanna be Captain America and Iron Man. That’s why I want to surprise Daddy and Pop.”
Clint chuckled and took a sip of his coffee. He really admired the way Peter looked up to his fathers. No matter what jokes Clint cracked around the two men, he really did think they were excellent superheroes and even better men. Tony had come a long way from being a drunken playboy who was unhappy all the time. He had become a wonderful father. Steve, on the other hand, they never had to worry about. He was walking perfection.
“Well, I think your dads are going to love it. How about we go get the stuff we need to make a costume? Maybe on the way home, we can stop for ice cream?”
“Yeah, yeah, yeah!” the six year old jumped up and down, clapping his hands. “Thanks, Uncle Clint. You’re the coolest!”
Clint could feel two little arms wrap around his waist and he could feel his heart melting. Clint loved his nephew. A lot.
“You’re the coolest,” the man replied before kneeling down to hug Peter properly.

Hawkeye stepped out of the elevator after it reached the right floor and placed Peter down onto his feet. He put all the bags of supplies on the counter and started to take them out.
“Okay, Squirt. I’m going to go find the sewing machine. You stay here and finish your ice cream cone.”
Peter sat at down by the counter and licked at his chocolate cone, getting more of it on his face than in his mouth.
“Are you going to finish yours, Uncle Clint?”
The assassin smiled and walked down the hallway, “You can have the rest, Pete.”

After hours of accidental sewing of the fingers, gluing, and breaks for snacks, Clint and Peter finished his costume for Halloween.
“What are you going to call yourself, Squirt?”
Peter thought for a second before touching the the plastic circle in the middle that resembled his dad’s arc reactor, “How about Captain Man?”
The agent grinned and handed his nephew the plastic shield they bought hours before.
“Sounds good to me.”

It was Halloween and Peter couldn’t wait to put on his costume to show his dads.
“Daddy! Pop! Wanna see the costume me and Uncle Clint made?”
Peter’s parents walked into his bedroom and sat down on their son’s bed.
“Of course we do, kiddo,” Tony smiled, wrapping his arm around Steve’s waist.
Clint handed Peter the bag with his costume in it and watched him run down the hall and into the bathroom so he change.
“Thank you so much for helping him, Clint,” Steve said. “He really loves and looks up to you.”
The archer placed on hand on his teammate’s shoulder and grinned.
“You have no idea how much he loves and looks up to you…”
Peter came running into the room decked out in his Captain Man suit complete with glowing arc reactor, holding his shield and showing his dads his repulsor. He even showed off his A hood.
“TaDa! I’m Captain Man! Captain America, half Iron Man!”
Tony laughed and Steve had the biggest smile on his face when they saw their son come into the room. No wonder it had been a surprise.
“Wow! You look so cool! You’re the best Avenger there is!” Tony said as he got down on the floor, sitting on his knees, so Peter could see him.
“Do you and Pop really like it, daddy?”
Steve joined his husband on the floor and placed his hand behind Peter’s head so he could kiss his forehead.
“We love it, son. You look amazing.”
“Well, Uncle Clint helped me. Can he help us every year now?”
Clint smiled, “Of course, Squirt. I’ll definitely help.”

SuperFamily Drabble -Conversations

“Blahblubfff ahhhewwouuu,” a little infant Peter blubbered out while he sat in his high chair, watching his dad fumble around with some shiny metal objects at the table and his poppa pouring a little cereal into a bowl.
“Oh yeah, kiddo?” Tony replied to his son’s baby talk. “That sounds like a lot of fun.”
Steve walked over to them and sat down next to his husband before feeding individual Cheerios to Peter.
“That is honestly the cutest thing I’ve ever seen you do with him.”
Tony looked up from his work and raised an eyebrow, “Do what? What do I do?”
“You talk to him. You answer him back,” Steve laughed. “Out of all the things I’ve seen you do with him, this is my favorite thing.”
Peter was steadily eating his cereal as Steve fed it to him, but he was also carrying on his conversation with his father, a mixture of giggles and blubbering.
Just as his son could multitask, so could Tony. He continued to work on his contraption, talk to his son, and talk to his husband.
What else could he say? Like father, like son.

Wanna Know A Secret? -A Superhusbands Fanfic

Pepper sat next to Tony, who was blissfully playing with her fingers, zonked out of his mind. Tony Stark was a grown ass man who fought against super villains and managed to stay alive in Afghanistan after almost dying, living off of nothing but a car battery, and he was still afraid of going to the dentist. He’d never tell anyone that he always brought Pepper Potts to keep him calm when he had appointments, no, he was Iron Man. People, especially Clint Barton, would never let him live that down.
Whenever he was scheduled for any procedure to be done, other than cleanings, the dental hygienists would give him Nitrous Oxide, or laughing gas, that would render him goofy and unaware of his surroundings. Pepper couldn’t deny the fact that she thought he was just the most precious thing all because he had this childhood fear, that followed him throughout his adolescence and adulthood, of a few dental instruments. She would never tell him that, of course.
“Thanks, doc. His teeth look great. Sorry about his behavior, again,” the small woman said.
The dentist grabbed the billionaire’s folder of all his records, “Oh, we’re getting used to it, Ms. Potts. I’ll take Tony’s charts and bring them back to records. Whenever you think he’s ready, you can go up the receptionist and make his next checkup appointment so we know the procedure is making him feel better.”
Pepper nodded and tried to keep her composure when she felt pressure on one of her fingers. Tony didn’t know his own strength sometimes, especially when he was high out of his mind. She mumbled an ‘ow’ under her breath and took her hand back as the dentist and his assistant walked out of the room.

“How are you feeling, Tony?”
The genius was just sitting in his chair, looking around and humming to himself.
“I feel really pretty. Do you think I’m pretty, Peppy?”
“Gorgeous,” Pepper laughed to herself.
“I have a secret I want to tell you,” Tony whispered as he played with his assistant’s hair, pulling it every which way around her face.
Pepper swatted at his hands and smiled, “Okay, what’s the secret?”
“You gotta promise not to get mad at me,” Tony giggled to himself, his thick fingers running around the edges of his arc reactor.
Pepper pulled his hands away in fear that he would destroy the thing in his chest keeping him alive. As said before, sometimes, he didn’t know his own strength.
“Okay, I’ll try not to be mad at you. Just tell me.”
“You know that guy Steve?” Tony whispered slowly into her ear, one hand on her chin and the other placed on the back of her head.
She began to nod when she realized that she couldn’t.
“Yes, I know Steve. He lives with you and the rest of the Avengers in the tower. What about Steve?”
Tony moved his lips to Pepper’s ear and smiled on her skin, “We kissed.”
The man let go of the ginger’s head and sat back in his chair before he rubbed his eyes, mimicking a small child.
“You and Steve kissed?! Tony! Oh my god, I can’t believe you! I cannot believe you would do that to poor Steve. Why can’t you just keep it in your pants, Tony? It’s bad enough that you’ve basically slept with the whole city of Los Angeles, now you’re trying to put the moves on Captain America?!”
Tony giggled and kicked his feet around, unaware that he was a grown man and should not be doing so.
“He kissed me first! He’s my secret boyfriend, Peppy. I really like him.”
He couldn’t possibly be telling the truth. He was all messed up on wacky gas so there was a chance he could be lying. Once after a procedure, he told Pepper that he sent out nude pictures to an ex fling who had threatened to send the pictures to CNN, destroying his career and life. That was a lie and Pepper still believed that over Tony kissing Steve!

Once they got back to the tower, Tony was talking normally again and the gas’ effect on him was gone.
“Thanks for taking me to the dentist, Pep,” Tony said as he walked inside, his voice just a muffled mush of words due to the cotton balls in his mouth. Pepper could only hope that was the only form of balls getting near his mouth…
“Don’t talk too much, Tony. I know how hard that is for you, but it has to hurt and I refuse to be called tonight by you whining that your mouth hurts. The dentist said not to eat or drink for another hour and if the stiches start to bleed, please do not try to fix them yourself. Just call me and I’ll handle it.”
“Sure thing, mommy,” Tony mumbled, eyes glued to the phone in his hand.
What was Pepper supposed to do? All she could think about was the fact that she knew this insane secret she wasn’t supposed to know and Tony didn’t even remember that he told her!
“Can I ask you something?”
Tony looked up and smiled, “You just did. And I thought I wasn’t supposed to talk.”
“YOU KISSED STEVE!” Pepper blurted out before going over it in her head.
“How do you know about that?”
“Because you told me! You were all wacked out on Nitrous Oxide and you told me that you kissed Steve and that he was your secret boyfriend!”
Tony leaned against the counter in the kitchen and ran a hand through his hair with the smuggest of smug looks on his face.
“Well, now I don’t have to worry about telling you anymore.”
“Are the two of you really secretly dating or are you lying just to push my buttons and give me a heart attack?” Pepper asked, trying to catch her breath.
Tony walked over to her and placed both of his hands on her shoulders, smiling like nothing was wrong and like Pepper had gone batshit crazy, “Would I lie to you?”
“Yes. You have and you always will. I’ve already accepted that.”
Just then, Steve walked into the room, face buried in a book.
“Hey, Ms. Potts. What are you doing here?”
Tony looked back at her and swiped his flattened hand across his neck horizontally.
“Just checking up on Tony,” she lied, even though she should’ve just sold him out.
Steve walked up to them and wrapped his arm around Tony’s neck. He smiled at the brunette and then at the ginger.
“Aww, you don’t have to do that. We all look out for Tony around here.”
Both men had insanely creepy smiles plastered on their faces, which Pepper was not too fond of.
“Just don’t break any headboards and use protection,” Pepper muttered as she walked into the elevator, quickly pressing the button to the first floor.
